Give me 30 days with you.I'll get the heart, stories, and lessons out of you, so you can connect and engage with your customers on a much deeper level online.
Voice Tuning is a focused 30-day project that pulls the real story of your business out of your head and puts it online, so your content stops sounding like everyone else in your industry and starts sounding like the person your best customers actually know.
No charge. No obligation. Just a conversation to see whether Voice Tuning fits your business.
Based in Monroe, Georgia. I do my best work sitting across the table from you.
Let the story of your business be heard.
That's not a writing problem.
It's a story problem.
You know who you are. You know what your business is about. But what you're putting out online doesn't reflect any of that. It sounds like everyone else in your industry, and the people who would love working with you are scrolling right past.
Voice Tuning is the foundation work that closes that gap. Three long conversations. Five working documents. Yours to keep.
You tried AI. It sounded like nobody.
Most small business owners have tried AI, gotten something generic back, and decided it doesn't work for them. They're right about the result. They're wrong about the cause.
The problem isn't the AI. It's that the substance was never there to begin with: the heart, the stories, the lessons only you can teach. Once that's pulled out and written down, AI can do the heavy lifting. Your voice and your relationships stay at the center.
Voice Tuning pulls the story out of you and writes it down.
Voice Tuning (Voice & Identity Foundation) is a focused 30-day project. It's the foundation everything else gets built on, whether you keep working with me after or not.
- 1
Foundation Brief
The one-page summary. What your business is, who it's for, what it sounds like, what it never sounds like. The thing you read before you write anything.
- 2
Voice Profile
The working reference for how your business sounds. Tone, rhythm, words to use, words to avoid, signature phrases, and the false belief your business is built to destroy. Drop it into AI, hand it to a writer, give it to your team: it runs the content.
- 3
Identity Pillars
The 4 to 6 foundational things your business is actually about, in priority order. What you lead with, what you support with, what you never sound like.
- 4
Customer Avatar
Exactly who you're talking to. Their top fear, their top desire, where they hang out, and the lie that keeps them stuck.
- 5
Story Inventory + Hooks
The real stories you already have that prove what you believe, plus three to seven opening lines pulled from each one. Ready to use as video scripts, post openers, and ad headlines.
How the work happens.
Step 1 · Week 1
Source Pull
I gather everything that holds your voice today: your existing content, sales pages, reviews, any interviews or podcasts, and the way you actually talk when nobody's editing.
Step 2 · Weeks 2 to 3
Story Extraction
Three 60-minute conversations, in person here in Monroe or on a call. I ask questions and listen. Then I look for patterns: the stories you keep coming back to, the lessons you learned the hard way, the phrases you reach for, the beliefs underneath the beliefs.
Step 3 · Weeks 2 to 3
Drafting
I write your Foundation Brief, Voice Profile, Identity Pillars, Customer Avatar, and Story Inventory. Not as theory, but as a working reference. Five documents your team can pull up on Monday morning and write like you without you in the room.
Step 4 · Weeks 3 to 4
Delivery and Calibration
You get all five documents, and we walk through them together. You push back on anything that doesn't feel true, and I revise until it reads like you. From there, the next step is yours. Some clients hand the documents to their team. Some have me build a website on top of them. Some sit on it for six months and come back. All three are fine.

Who this is for.
- Founder-led businesses in and around Monroe and Walton County, where you are the brand but what's online doesn't reflect who you actually are yet
- Multi-location practices and professional services firms whose story has drifted across teams and locations
- Ministries, nonprofits, and mission-led organizations where the founder's "why" has to come through in every post and every email
What this is not.
It's not a brand sprint.
It's not a mood board.
It's not a tagline exercise.
It's not AI prompts dressed up as strategy.
It's foundation work. It produces working documents, not a vibe.

"I have had a phenomenal experience working with Curtis and his team. What I appreciate most is how they are able to capture the vision, but also bring out intangibles and details that elevate what they create and communicate on behalf of their clientele. I would highly recommend."
Chris Stallings, Abundance Wealth Advisors

Meet Curtis.
I'm Curtis Little. I've spent more than twenty years helping organizations tell their story, including managing marketing for the Atlanta Ballet and the Alliance Theatre, where I helped win a 2008 Gold Effie alongside BBDO. I spent thirteen years as a missionary in Bolivia. Today I run Sound Trumpet out of Monroe, Georgia, and I'm a proud member of the Walton County Chamber of Commerce.
What it costs.

What happens next.
Book a free 30-minute call. We'll walk through your business together: what's coming through online right now, what isn't, and whether Voice Tuning fits where you're headed. If it does, we kick off within the week. If it doesn't, you'll still leave with a few specific things you can fix today without me.
No charge. No obligation.
Voice Tuning is the foundation. Whatever you build next, it starts with your story.
